AirPura T600W (T600-W) Tobacco Smoke Air Purifier provides an effective solution to Primary and Second-hand smoke. The AirPura T600W continuously cleans the air in the whole house from Cigarette and Cigar smoke, Wildfire smoke through the air duct of a house's central ventilation and air conditioning system.

AirPura T600W Central Air Purifier for Cigarette smoke removal is equivalent of the AirPura T600 Cigarette Smoke portable air purifier for a whole house air purification. Just like the AirPura T600 portable air purifier, the AirPura T600W central air purifier employs the oversize activated carbon filter canister with massive amount of activated carbon adsorbent (26 lbs.), which ensures a large scale removal of toxic chemicals and tars in cigarette and tobacco smoke. However, unlike the AirPura T600 portable air purifier, the AirPura T600W central air purifier cleans the air in the whole house through the air duct of a central home ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC).

AirPura T600W - Air Filtration System

• Oversize 3-inch deep activated carbon filter canister.

  The core of the air filtration system of AirPura T600W central air purifier is the oversize activated carbon filter - similar to the one used in the model C600W. It contains a massive amount (26 lbs.) of granulated carbon adsorbent in 3-inch deep canister. Such a huge amount of adsorbent combined with an extended dwelling time in 3-inch deep carbon bed is critical to ensure the unparalleled adsorption capacity and efficiency in removal from the air of toxic chemical substances in cigarette / tobacco smoke.

   

• HEPA-Barrier Post Filter.

  To provide an adequate filtration of the air from most microscopic ash in cigarette smoke the AirPura T600W central air purifier employs the HEPA-Barrier post filter placed on the plastic filter-holder frame.

   

• Types of Adsorbent Used.

  As a standard adsorbent, the AirPura T600W air purifier filter canister contains Coconut shell activated granulated carbon. The coconut shell carbon is the most widely used type of adsorbent in a majority of high performance air purifiers. Meanwhile, if the light sweet smell of Coconut shell carbon becomes an issue for some users, the alternative Anthracite based activated granular carbon adsorbent is available at No Extra cost.

   

• Tar-trapping Pre Filter.

  To provide effective trapping of tars in cigarette and tobacco smoke the AirPura T600W central air purifier employs the special Tar-trapping Pre filter instead of a standard Polyester based one. Tar-trapping pre filter has an improved ability to trap and hold tar in cigarette / tobacco smoke, thus protecting the air filtration system from faster contamination by sticky tars.

AirPura T600W Motor Fan Assembly

AirPura T600W is powered by the same energy efficient Motor/Fan assembly with variable speed control rated at 560 CFM.
The variable speed control allows users to adjust the air filtration rate by selecting the speed setting that is the most suitable for any particular air cleaning application.
The One-piece Motor/Fan assembly is factory balanced to ensure the vibration and noise-free operation.
The compact design of a motor / fan unit leaves more room for placement of larger filters.
The motor and electric components are placed in a separate chamber to eliminate the contact with the already filtered air passed the filter thus prevent its re-contamination.

Power Supply Options.

The Standard configuration of the AirPura T600W central air purifier is for North American electric power supply of 120V, 60Hz -  (Canada, USA, Mexico).
The optional motor and power cord for 220-230V, 50Hz electric power supply is available for overseas customers at Extra cost.

AirPura T600W features the all metal durable, impact resistant fully enclosed housing design.
The central air purifiers are available in a single color - Black.
The appliance quality baked-on powder coat resists scratching, scuffing and stain.
The powder coat is totally inert and produces no toxic off-gassing.
To ensure simple connection to the air duct, the AirPura T600W central air purifier is equipped with standard 5-inch hose attachment for both Polluted air intake (top panel of the unit) and Clean air outlet (bottom of the unit on its side).
To provide a required mobility for AirPura T600W air purifier used to remove the polluted air at a source, the unit can be equipped with 4-Wheel casters on the bottom panel at No Extra Cost.
