AirPura C600W (C600-W) is a modified AirPura C600 air purifier with AirPura oversize carbon canister for Heavy Chemical abatement in a whole house or multiple office rooms up to 2000 sq. ft. AirPura C600W connected to the air duct of a house's HVAC system provides continuous purification of the air in the whole house or multiple office rooms from heavy chemicals and odors.

AirPura C600W whole house air purifier is whole house equivalent model of the AirPura C600 portable air purifier. It employs a similar oversize activated carbon filter canister with massive amount of activated carbon adsorbent (26 lbs.), which ensures large scale effective removal of most chemical substances and noxious odors. However, unlike the portable air purifier, the AirPura C600W whole house air purifier purifies the air in the whole house through the air duct of a central home ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC / furnace).

AirPura C600W Air Filtration System Comprises:

• Oversize 3-inch deep activated carbon filter canister.

  The core of the AirPura C600W air filtration system is the oversize activated carbon filter canister. It contains a massive amount (26 lbs.) of granulated carbon adsorbent in 3-inch deep filter canister. Such a huge amount of adsorbent combined with an extended dwelling time for contaminated air in 3-inch deep carbon bed renders the unparalleled adsorption capacity and efficiency in removal from the air of all regular chemical substances in high concentrations.

   

• HEPA-Barrier Post Filter.

  To provide an adequate filtration of the air from most common allergens and dust, the AirPura C600W whole house air purifier employs the HEPA-Barrier post filter placed on the plastic filter-holder frame.

   

• Types of Adsorbent Used.

  As a standard adsorbent, the AirPura C600W air purifier filter canister contains Coconut shell activated granulated carbon. Coconut shell carbon is the most widely used type of adsorbent in a majority of high performance air purifiers.

  Meanwhile, if the light sweet smell of Coconut shell carbon becomes an issue for some users, the alternative Anthracite based activated granular carbon adsorbent is available at No Extra cost.

   

• Standard Polyester based Pre-filter

  The Pre-filter is the the first stage of the air filtration system of all portable and whole house AirPura air purifiers. The pre-filter traps most of the larger visible dust and dirt particles to protect fine True HEPA filter from faster contamination and extend its lifetime.

  The AirPura C600W whole house air purifier employs the 1-inch thick standard polyester based pre-filter. To keep it clean, the pre-filter can be removed and vacuumed using a soft brush. The pre-filter needs to be replaced with new one when it gets very dirty or ruined (usually every 9 to 12 month or so).

   

• Unbleached Pesticide-Free Cotton Pre-Filter (optional)
  The optional unbleached pesticide-free pre-filter is available at extra cost for the concerned individuals with elevated chemical sensitivity.

AirPura C600W Motor Fan Assembly

AirPura C600W employs powerful, yet energy efficient Motor/Fan assembly with variable speed control rated at 560 CFM. The same power unit is used in nearly all models of AirPura portable and whole house air purifiers.
The variable speed control allows the users to adjust the air filtration rate by selecting the speed setting that is the most suitable for any particular air cleaning application.
The One-piece Motor/Fan assembly is factory balanced to ensure the vibration and noise-free operation.
The compact design of a motor / fan unit leaves more room for placement of larger filters.
The motor and electric components are placed in a separate chamber to eliminate the contact with the already filtered air passed the filter thus prevent its re-contamination.

The Standard configuration of the AirPura C600W whole house air purifier is for North American electric power supply of 120V, 60Hz -  (Canada, USA, Mexico).
The optional motor and power cord for 220-230V, 50Hz electric power supply is available for overseas customers at Extra cost.

AirPura C600W features the all metal durable, impact resistant fully enclosed housing design.
The whole house air purifiers are available in a single color - Black.
The appliance quality baked-on powder coat resists scratching, scuffing and stain.
The powder coat is totally inert and produces no toxic off-gassing.
To ensure simple connection to the air duct, the AirPura C600W whole house air purifier is equipped with standard 5-inch hose attachment for both Polluted air intake (top panel of the unit) and Clean air outlet (bottom of the unit on its side).
To provide a required mobility to remove the polluted air at a source, the AirPura C600W air purifier can be equipped with 4-Wheel casters on the bottom panel at No Extra Cost.
